With many stars making a comeback after a long break becoming a new trend, all eyes were on the beautiful Sridevi and her second innings. Recently, her husband Boney Kapoor also gave strong indications that she is likely to come back but then she was waiting for the right story. A prelude to this was Sridevi’s guest appearance in the recent movie ‘Halla Bol’ and she looked very much the same Sridevi that all of you know. The latest on her front is that she is currently undergoing the Botox treatment. For those of you who are unaware of what this is, it is a therapy using injections and medication which removes the wrinkles on the skin and gives a new glow to the whole body, in one line, this is a treatment that makes you look young by many years. This comes as an interesting development since Sridevi is undergoing such a treatment and it looks very likely that she would not be undergoing this for any pastime.
So the obvious reason could be her re-entry into films. While this is one side to it, the other side is what the kind of movie that will suit her image and give her a proper reception back into the film world. We have already seen big stars like Madhuri Dixit and Simran who have already attempted and have not been able to get much success which should be a reference point for Sridevi. But the smart woman must be surely up her sleeve.
At any given point, Sridevi is still the point of jealousy for many women and they would be having sleepless nights if she is making a comeback since men still adore the ‘Athiloka Sundari’ and would want to see her on the big screen again.
